HOOBS stands for Homebridge out of the box which consists of a Raspberry Pi and the Homebridge software pre-install. Also, it can integrate thousands of third-party accessories with HomeKit and is compatible with over 2000 accessories now. However, HOOBS is a bit more expensive solution than the other solutions.
2. Raspberry Pi
Raspberry Pi is a popular single-board computer with a low price tag. If you're going to run your Raspberry Pi over WiFi, you'll need to connect it to your home network. Additionally, you'll need a microSD card with at least 4GB of capacity and admin tools on a separate operating system (Windows, Mac, Linux) from the Raspberry Pi (Note: To flash Homebridge into the microSD card). Raspberry Pi is the cheapest way to add Ring devices to HomeKit.
